I have spent 15 years doing research  on rare medical conditions and natural medicine, to be able to get diagnosis and develop a treatment for my rare autoimmune disease, AIPA/ APD. My education in  biology/chemistry and my many years of research has allowed me to be able to help myself and others that suffer from rare and undiagnosed health problems. It is my hope that no other person or their family members are forced to endure the traumatic experiences I have faced with my medical condition, dealing with the medical profession, and living with lack of diagnosis, testing, & medical treatment. My website is devoted to helping other women with hormone related medical problems, those suffering undiagnosed medical conditions, and offering possible ideas for solid diagnosis and natural treatment options.

A 4 Part series  about my rare autoimmune disease and treatment was recently published on Hubpages.com. I published my story to give hope and motivation to others who suffer similar circumstances. I was recently diagnosed with a very rare and life threatening autoimmune disease called Progesterone Induced Anaphylaxis, Autoimmune Progesterone Anaphylaxis, and/or Autoimmune Progesterone Dermatitis (the milder form). It is a condition in which a woman becomes allergic to her own female hormone, Progesterone.

The most common allergy to Progesterone, APD, will produce hives, swelling, blistering of lips, severe PMS, infections, and acne beginning anywhere from 3-10 days before menstruation with symptoms subsiding a day or 2 after starting menstruation. Some symptoms may not even occur every month and there may be no physical visible symptoms at all.

The more severe, extremely rare case, AIPA, which is the one that I suffer, causes anaphylactic reactions beginning and subsiding in the same time frame of the menstrual cycle. Anaphylaxis is a severe allergic, life threatening reaction involving the organs of the body including skin, lungs, heart, stomach, bladder, muscles, and others. This is the same kind of severe allergic reaction that can cause shock and death in people who are allergic to bee stings, peanuts, seafood, etc. and requires emergent injections of Epinephrine and antihistamines.

Many women suffer undiagnosed hormone related medical problems. I believe that many more women suffer with similar undiagnosed conditions as mine due to the medical professions’ lack of knowledge and lack of testing for Progesterone Induced Anaphylaxis including it's milder forms.

It took me 24 years to get solid medical testing and diagnosis. I have survived at least 15 life threatening anaphylactic reactions that involved my heart, lungs, stomach, skin, and brain using only my research and natural/organic treatments. I had to demand specific medical testing based on my research and intuition and was very fortunate to have been diagnosed.

To date, I am the 10th diagnosed woman with my specific hormone allergy since it’s discovery in 1921. Through years of research and because of the lack of medical treatment options I was offered, I was able to develop my own all natural and organic beneficial estrogen (estriol) treatment to accomplish remission. I have been very successful with my new treatment and hope to educate and help others so that they can benefit from my story, research, and treatment as well.

The treatment that I developed has successfully treated my condition and is also a tested and successful treatment for hormonal imbalance, menopause/ perimenopause symptoms, increase in breast growth/firmness, maintains youthful hair/skin/nails, fades wrinkles, increases libido, increases vaginal moisture and muscle tone, memory, energy,  reduces PMS, regulates irregular menstrual cycles, and it is a wonderful prevention for female related cancers.
